DuPont™ Krytox® TFO oil is a specially developed
perfluoropolyether oil for polyester and polypropylene film
stretching equipment.
Due to a new developed production process, Krytox® TFO
oils have outstanding thermal stability, evaporation, and vapor
pressure properties. Krytox® TFO fluorinated oil can be used in
extreme conditions, such as continuous high temperatures up to
300 °C (572 °F) and higher temperatures for shorter periods.
Krytox® TFO oil is nonflammable. It is chemically inert and can
be used safely around hazardous chemicals.
Krytox® TFO oil will not damage plastics or elastomers or cause
corrosion to metals.
